excitedI'll be putting together the schedule soon and leaving out any Viz titles (because I've never gotten a response out of them even when I fax in the form on their web site requesting screening permission).
Notice the beautiful symmetry in the schedule:
Friday, June 29: 8pm - 4am (8 hours)
Saturday, June 30: 10am - 4am (18 hours)
Sunday, July 1: 10am --
Monday, July 2: -- 4am (42 hours)
Tuesday, July 3: 10am - 4am (18 hours)
Wednesday, July 3: 10am - 6pm (8 hours)
That makes 94 hours to fill. And I know I can do it! :) Even if I have to show all of Bottle Fairy and Di Gi Charat again.
Volunteer requirements: Be able to sit in a room, watch anime, change DVDs, and operate the language menu for Japanese audio with English subtitles. Preferred: Actually enjoy watching anime. Need not show up every single day, but please let me know in advance which days you plan to show up!
Edit: Staff rate is $30. Current regular attending rate is $75.
I'm still trying to decide between $99 for a standard room or $119 for a king suite with parlor. And whether to stay all 5 friggin' nights. :)
Oh! One last thing: If I can think of a topic and people to ask to speak at it, I can throw an anime-related panel in the same room too. Any ideas?
