Two other people sat through the Saikano marathon with me Saturday night to Sunday morning, and the three of us got "I Survived Saikano" ribbons. It was more enjoyable watching it with other people. We laughed together and cried together. Not all of the "cry points" are death-related either. There's at least one big sappy romantic cry point too.
The AMVs were the most popular event. I think we had seven people besides us at one point. Remember that Condor is a 400-person con. I made it to one of my panels (the other started the same time as the anime room was supposed to open, and we were 25 minutes late starting). We had 3 panelists and 4 in the audience, and it was fun. The topic was "Anime is a Style, not a Genre."
Next time I run an anime room (July), there will be more than two of us to run the room. Thanks, thechick! Monday morning I woke up feeling like I had a hangover. No, I didn't drink alcohol at all.
