Panel moment
I meant to include this in the previous list, but I think it works fine as its own entry.

Towards the end of the science fiction in anime and manga panel, I was sitting there with Fred Patten on my right, Hiroaki Inoue (given name first, co-founder of Gainax) on my left, and Ed Hooper to his left. I was trying to remember the name of this wonderful anime series that I felt should be mentioned. There wasn't much time left, so I got the microphone and said:

"There was this other great series... I can't remember the name... a girl was studying to become an astronaught..."

Ed started suggesting Gunbuster and Stellvia and a few others.

"No, the girl could see this ghost who wears a lion's head..."

Right away, Inoue-san said, "Futatsu no Spica."

"Yes, Futatsu no Spica! Twin Spica."

"I produced it. Thank you."

"Thank you!"

Hey, it was exciting for me. I've never been on a panel with an anime industry professional before. He was nice. :)

That was cool! Your experience sounded awesome, so lucky! x.x

Oh, don't mind me, just some Twin Spica fan-lurker passing by.
