Silly me.
I must be getting a bit forgetful. I just laughed myself silly at a web-based choose-your-own-adventure-type dating game that I wrote eight months ago.

Imagine the fun of trying to have a nice pleasant date with a girl who is an assassin for a living...

Smokey Joe's for breakfast was fun this morning. I think I should have stuck it out and waited the 20 minutes it would have taken for the vegan pancakes though. Good to see mshathvri, fallen42, cheesybunny, westofeden, formnull, moonfroggy, thechick, and chucklemagne.

In other news, Jon, a server at the Olive Garden in South San Jose, is friendly, funny, helpful, attentive, and fully deserved the ~70% tip he received from thespatula and I tonight. He was even creative--he brought me a few slices of peaches that they use to garnish iced teas, as a dessert for me. Yes, we asked to speak to a manager about him too.

In reading your posting, I was wondering why you had a (computer) server at Olive Garden .. what a weird co-location facility. :)

More (or less) sleep would be helfpul (helpful) :)

I prefer that word as a generic non-gender-specific term, but I do get it confused with the computer term.

Maybe I should use wait staff, or waitron for the ones who are more robot-like.

I like Waitron .. I haven't used that term in years .. I think I first heard it from Scott The Responsible/Josh The Reliable.

I'm sure I heard it from someone in the Trexer crowd.
