So, Ade got the new Weird Al-bum, and I was really struck by how authentic the eBay song sounded. I thought, you probably could find most of those things on eBay.
I manually grepped the lines from the song that mention items you might find on eBay, then added my results.
Plenty of used pink bathrobes.
Plenty of snow globes, some in mint condition.
Nothing with quite that description. I say this is close enough: "Smurf Metal Tray with legs! L@@K!"
Wow, I'd heard of these... now I know they come in a nifty box with holes in it, a nest!, and instructions.
I was dubious about whether such a thing even exists. It does! I couldn't find one on eBay, but if you find one online anywhere, eBay would be a likely place.
No idea. They do sell a few human hair toupees though.
Plenty of used golf bags.
Found plenty of Beanie Babies... found a few items in Norway, but currently no Beanie Babies sold from Norway.
I found one odd item actually listed as a tchotchke.
Duh, lots of watches...
Under completed items. It has a picture of the General Lee in the middle.
Well, I do see 4 PacMan lunch boxes in completed items, but nothing about PacMan Fever.
I didn't think I'd find the word vintage used with tube socks. "VINTAGE 80s EMO JAPAN RAVE STRIPE TUBE SOCKS" I was wrong.
LOL, there is an item, #3527205028: "Used Kleenex you don't want it!" It will probably get deleted soon, as they have a policy about selling human parts and remains, which would seem to include nasal waste products. I doubt you could actually buy celebrity snot on eBay.
eBay was supposedly started on Pez dispensers. Okay, I'll search. Currently, 4023 items found for Pez. Sure, a few aren't actual Pez dispensers, but still... that's a lot...
Plenty of toasters... even a weird-shaped toaster oven...
In conclusion, yes, you can get most of that stuff on eBay. Today. What are you waiting for? :)
