Well, my first week at Google (as a contractor) is almost done. I've been trying to cram a lot of information into my head.

I've gotten access to about half of the things I'll need to do my job here. I have a lot of learning to go about how things work in my department.

I've worked at a job that offered free drinks, like Snapple and beer. I think they even had a few snacks. But free food? Three meals a day if you're up for it and have the time? That will take some getting used to. I've already tried several cafes, and they've all been yummy. One star on a sign means that dish is vegetarian, while two stars mean vegan.

I had lunch with Rob Wednesday. That was cool.

There is a shuttle stop about a 7 minute drive from my house. I've been taking the shuttle since Tuesday.

Did I mention I have to pack everything up by 4pm today for an office move already? Well, I think I'll go drink the Arnold Palmer I just mixed.
