Tardis background painting
This painting is from the 12th episode of this season of Doctor Who: The Pandorica Opens. That's also the title of the painting. It's behind a cut because it's big, and because it contains huge spoilers. I also think it makes an excellent desktop background.

I was unable to find it through extensive Google Image searching, and endeavored to screen cap it and put it out there myself. :) Enjoy.

This was supposed to be painted by Vincent Van Gogh as a message to The Doctor, discovered by Winston Churchill, and stolen by River Song in 5145 (after a call via Tardis phone exchange from Churchill), then brought back to the year 102.

Cool painting. I wonder who painted it, and how they got about doing so.

They used a lot, lot, lot of oil paint and if they are anything like Van Gogh was they did it pretty quickly.
