Thanks to http://youremblem.com I now have an official-looking Honda Tohru. :)

Edit: Hmm, now I want to peel off the "Civic" sticker in the middle.

Neat. Back when I was really into Babylon 5 I considered looking into how to make a Black Omega symbol for the car. Looks like this place doesn't do custom logos, though...

Cool. I'd imagine custom logos would cost more. Even Youremblem's Japanese site only shows Roman characters available.
the annoyingly cute one: Toph - BAM!djnekomancer on August 13th, 2009 07:49 pm (UTC)

Ah the possibilities...
Right now, Jebus H Chrysler has no nameplates at all on her. What could one get made for a completely blank car that looks like a poor man's hears with flames on it. "Miller Meteor" would be amusing, but perhaps a bit esoteric. The fact that there is a company that will make car emblems to order is fascinating. So many things I could say on my car. I'll probably leave it blank, though.
Doesn't とうる actually translate to Touru? When I type "T-O-H-R-U" into IME, I get とhる.

Re: Ah the possibilities...
Ah, but there are many ways to Romanize Japanese. "Tohru" seems to be the "official" way to transcribe that character's name. If I weren't familiar with that spelling of her name, I would probably use "Touru."

The company sells individual letters in a small selection of fonts.
