How was the con?

Ah, it was nice. I'll miss it a lot next year when it moves to Memorial Day weekend.

The cosplay had some amazing choreography that must have taken months of practice. The one that sticks in my mind had one character mind-controlling the others like they're puppets, and the "puppets" moved like they were on strings, falling to a marionette slack position now and then, eyes staring blankly. It was beautiful and creepy. I don't see it on Youtube from a quick glance, but I'll be on the lookout. The rest of the cosplay was pretty amazing too.

The AMV contest made me wonder whether they pre-screen the videos at all... over half had subtitles, and many had TV station logos and/or opening credits. A few were really good.

Our parties were big successes, and games were played, and I was surprised we didn't get any noise complaints.

There were four of us, all with four-letter names, each representing a different time zone in the continental US. We covered all four time zones. :)

I felt okay last night, but woke up today exhausted. I was glad to have some routine work to do this morning so I could zone out while doing it and still stay awake.
