Pirate anime!
So, I will be running the anime room for Baycon next year. I might be done with Con-rides... we'll see.

Anyway, Baycon has a pirate theme next year! I'm going to list every pirate themed (not pirated--that's different) anime movie/series I can think of, and any additions are most welcome!

Captain Harlock TV series
Queen Emeraldas, Captain Harlock: All movies
The Enemy is the Pirates!
One Piece
Elemental Gelade
Laputa: Castle in the Sky
Mars Daybreak
Outlaw Star
Peter Pan no Bouken
Porco Rosso
Stellar Buster Mito
Legend of Basara
Tide-Line Blue
Black Lagoon
Sol Bianca
Green Legend Ran
Nadia: Secret of Blue Water
Space Pirate Mito.
Desert Pirate! Captain Kuppa
Disney's Treasure Planet
Disney's Peter Pan

Even vaguely piratey will do. Thank you.

ARRRR ! !
There's Porco Rosso if you're OK with air pirates. Stellar Buster Mito too, for space pirates.

Re: ARRRR ! !
For being Miyazaki, Porco Rosso was bad.... I wondered why they even bothered to make it.

I think that "Nadia: Secret of Blue Water" could maybe kinda sorta fit the pirate theme, though it's close.

Oh cool, thanks. I have the first volume, though I haven't watched it yet. :)

No problem. It was about the only one that I could think of that might if the theme that wasn't already mentioned.

I'm not sure if its the same but there's Space Pirate Mito.
In addition I see that Desert Pirate! Captain Kuppa isn't on your list.
Also It may be a little lame but Disney's Treasure Planet and Peter Pan works into this theme.

*HUGS*

Okay, updated. The list may require some trimming (especially for trouble with getting permission), but this is a lot more full than I had expected. :)

*hugs*

Is that Boo wearing pirate garb?
ashi: charyb-deskashi on September 17th, 2007 02:21 am (UTC)
Nay, it be Charybdis, his friend and former mortal enemy. She has a white nose area, while Boo's is grey.

Charybdis is also fatter.
