Woot for the good.
Boo for the bad.

Hope for improvement for rickybuchanan, as a spoon shortage of that level is very frumple.

Thanks for the wishing for more spoons for me - it is indeed very frumple to have such a lack.

Should I remember you from somewhere... my memory is awful, but I have no idea of who you are!

Sheepishly Yours,
Ricky

Not that I'm aware of, given that you live in Oz and I've never been out of the country.

I recently met ashi through chirik at a movie, and I'd like to think that ashi made a very positive impression upon me.

And you should be thankful you live in Oz if you're feeling sheepish. I've heard stories regarding Kiwis.. *ducks*

Hope rickybuchanan has more spoons soon.

Other than that, I am soooo envious! :-)

Have a splendid time!

I don't think we've ever met, but I've known ashi for many years.

mew!
Meow mew meeeow mew. I am so glad that you had fun in AU. What is the story with watermelon smoothies? It is exciting that you got to meet Ricky. :)

Re: mew!
I had a watermelon smoothie that was excitingly good. I think the name of the place was Power or Pump. It cost me $4.50. Another day, I had a watermelon smoothie at a cafe that had a sign that said "3.95 smoothies" on the door. Especially compared to the other one, this watermelon smoothie was just not tasty.

Have I told you lately just how bloody fantastic you are and how hugely I enjoyed your presence?

If not, I have now!

Hugs and love,
Ricky

Oh wow, it's so cool that you've gotten to visit ricky- they're so cool and I miss not seeing them elsewhere online lots!

Other good things are cool too, 'cept I have no idea what felafels are. It's also AWESOME that you're getting around better now. I can't begin to imagine how bad that hip problem would be, but I know that it's definitely been a pain in the arse for you. Being able to break out into a run for you without a limp is excellent! :)

Keep up the fun, and keep up the good work on taking care of yourself as well!

*faxes you a falafel*
I'll bet you can find them at your local Greek, Hebrew, Middle Easter, or Mediterranean restaurant. Basically, mash up chick peas (garbonzo beans) with some spices, shape into balls, and fry. Place into pita bread or a lavash wrap with some lettuce and tomato perhaps, and some sauce, preferrably tahini (made from sesame and stuff). Mmm.

Yeah, breaking the femur sucked, but it didn't bug me all that much. Seven weeks off work with pay made it feel almost worthwhile :) The first few weeks back at work I did part-time and still walked with a cane. I often still have a slight limp, especially the first few steps after I sit down for a while, but that's about it.
