netflix
I have succumbed to the temptation of a two-week free trial of Netflix. I doubt I will stop at two weeks. If there's something you've been meaning to watch with me and don't own, let me know, so I can get it in my queue. :)

Well, that was after my second day of searching for movies to rate to get recommendations, and running into a few I knew I wanted to see...

heheheh. I was pondering that too, also pondering the blockbuster version, it's the same, but also includes 2 in store rentals.

The blockbuster site only says they have Figure 17 discs 1 and 2, while netflix has all 6, and should be sending me 3 of them today...

Blockbuster only seems to have 3-at-a-time. I take 5-at-a-time from Netflix, and am considering upgrading to 8, with sub-queues, to accommodate a large household. I have 140+ DVDs in my queue (I could easily have more); I see no point to adding trips to Blockbuster to my life. BB does have the advantage of being cheaper, and if you enjoy the standing, searching, disc out of stock, waiting in line part of the movie-watching experience, then more power to you. Pick up the pizza on your way home ;-) .
