Charybdis vs. the baby gate
Since I changed her food, Charybdis has been fighting with Boo more. She has also lost weight. I put up a baby gate to keep them separated, but recently she has been able to get past it. I just found how how.

The gap she walked through is 2.75 inches, or 7 cm.

Warning: messy house.

Wow, you wouldn't suspect that she'd be able to get through that -- what with her fluffy fur! I bet there's very little left when she gets wet. :P

Ha!

Stubborn cats are the so much trouble. :D

Errrrr, are so much trouble even. Where did that "the" come from?

I'm blaming a cat.

Reminds me a Pikaboo, the cat in Rose in Bloom who can pass through screen doors because she is all fluff.
I would say get a screen style baby gate, but the cat will probably figure out how to climb over that.
Try some hard plastic on the lower half of the gate?
Either that or just give up.
Good Luck.

I am having luck so far with a few strategically-placed zip ties. Thanks.

It's a cat, why doesn't she just jump over it?

She's still a bit too fat. Or possibly she was fat for so long that she isn't sure about jumping that high yet. Boo leaps right over it without having to pause to think about it.
