EEE!
So, I don't have a power supply or working battery yet for my EEE (did not get it new), and I'm already looking forward to adding a 64 gig flash hard drive:

http://www.slashgear.com/super-talent-16gb-32gb-64gb-ssd-upgrades-for-asus-eee-pc-0718561/

I found it doing a search for eee on Pricewatch, which shows the 64 gig version at $93.31 shipped (plus California sales tax). I also may solder in a Bluetooth module using instructions online.

Eee.

Let me know if you'd like help with the soldering. :)

Thanks! I should be okay. I've soldered for work and for fun before. I should be receiving a low-power fine-tipped soldering iron as a present soon too.

depends on which one you have, we have some at work for the new eeepcs, and a power adapter for the older ones.

batteries shouldn't be a prob.

701. I already ordered both, and it turns out the adapter the one should have come with was found. Just need to get to it...

Dude! I couldn't even get my 16GB flash drive filled! What on earth are you going to put on there, to need so much space!?

Also, congrats on your purchase. We had a lot of fun with the Eee in Japan -- storing photos off the camera, emailing friends and family, reading LJ, making the occasional kliktikfix.nl entry...

Some video files. It seems to play video files just fine, and has svga out, so I can use it with my projector.

I'm looking to put some 1.5TB drives in my desktops early next year... I always seem to be able to use up space.

Wait, which Eee do you have?
I have a 900, which works pretty well with DivX and MP3 -- but it doesn't cut it when playing HD-resolution MKVs!

A 701. I won't feed it HD MKV files.

That's good then. :)
